2016 We decided to campaign Takoda on the AKC trail. He travelled up and down the state of CA with Moira Hanley-Cornell at the end of his lead. Goal achieved in Las Vegas on 10.15.16!                                                              Next up... Nosework, Obedience & Rally training! AND... Service Dog training for MIchael!

5.24.14 Takoda and Bayley strike again! Dixon, CA at the NorCal ASC shows, under judge Laurie Atkinson. Awarded WD and BOS for another 5 point major and thus becoming a new ASCA Champion!

3.29.14 Takoda and Bayley make their ring debut in Turlock at the DASF shows. Bayley and Takoda win the BBX class and go on to WD and BOW.Another 5 point major! Thank you judge Marianne Klinkowski.

1.26.14 Michael took Takoda for their first Odor Recognition Test (ORT - Birch) in Santa Rosa! This is needed to start competing in Nosework. Happy to report they passed. After viewing the video, I'm very impressed. Takoda didn't alert strongly. (I would have missed it!) Huge congratulations to both.

11.17.13 Takoda and DiAnna show that they mean business! With limited ring time this year, at the PASA shows in Los Banos, CA, they won the BBX class and went on to Winners Dog (WD)! That was the warm up for Best of Winners (BOW) and Best Opposite Sex (BOS). Thank you Judge Cheri Preciado, for this recognition!

8.24-25.13 Takoda & DiAnna make their AKC debut at Mensona KC (Santa Rosa, CA) in the Bred By Exhibitor class and pull a pair of thirds against the big kids!

8.6.13 - Michael and Takoda start their Nosewok training!

3.17.13 Takoda earns his CGC title after being the greeter dog for over a dozen other dogs needing CGC testing! So proud of this boy!

11.14 - 11.20.2012 Takoda survives a roll-over accident in the Arizona desert. On his own for 6 days, this 7.5 month old proves he has stamina and the smarts to survive. Shown below with Matt Marrs and Michael, hours after Matt found him!

11.2012 ASCA Nationals, Bakersfield, CA - Takoda earns a ribbon in every class he was entered in the 6 - 8 month old division, with DiAnna at the end of his lead!

6.2012 I wanted a diversion for the summer after losing my Mom and 2 of our dogs. DiAnna Williams of Sierra Rose Aussies sent me a little black boy to ease my pain, with the understanding that I would only keep him until Nationals in Bakersfield. Within a week he had stole our hearts and became Michael's dog. The two of them are only apart when Takoda has to make breed ring appearances!
